James Caviezel (der Jesus aus Mel Gibsons Film) hat Interesse an der Rolle im Superman-Film von Bryan Singer!
Allerdings hat WB noch kein Angebot entsandt!

Dabei hat er doch die besten Referenzen:
z.B. übers Wasser gehen, oder Himmelfahrt!
Von da ist es nur ein kleiner Schritt zum VOGEL! FLUGZEUG! SUPERMAN!

James Caviezel sieht dem Jim Lee Superman ja schon ziemlich ähnlich. Jetzt noch 10kg mehr Muskeln und vor Hitzeblick rot glühende Augen und fertig ist der Superman

Finde ich übrigens auch! Außerdem is der ein sehr fähiger Schauspieler.
Der könnte wirklich Superman sein!

"We have to find someone over 6 feet tall, with good looks, who can act. It's a little on the difficult side," says Seattle casting agent Patty Kalles, who held the open call. She told The Post there would also be auditions in New York, Chicago, Vancouver, Dallas and Los Angeles.

"Last week was pretty pathetic. I was like, God, is that all there is? I mean, they were nice on the eyes, but ..."

It's not as if there's no one in Hollywood who fits the bill. But a Who's Who of Hollywood hunks - Jude Law, Ashton Kutcher, Josh Hartnett, Brendan Fraser and Paul Walker among them - reportedly refused to don the blue tights for "Superman Returns: Unbelievable."

"They've had such a run of bad luck getting this thing together," says Martin Grove, a columnist for Hollywood Reporter Online.

"Casting a role that's as high-profile as Superman is obviously a major piece of work. And the bigger the star, the more insecure they are" - which translates to skittishness about signing on to a project that's had a revolving-door relationship with directors.

Wer ist Superman?

Und wieder dreht sich das "Superman" Karussell. Angeblich ist jetzt Jesus-Darsteller James Caviezel im Gespräch die Rolle des Mannes aus Stahl zu übernehmen.

Andere Quellen berichteten, das Tom Welling und andere Darsteller zu einem letzten Casting gerufen werden, bei dem die Entscheidung fallen soll. Angeblich soll Bryan Singer ( X-Men 1 und 2)für Tom Welling sein, aber etliche im Studio sind mit dieser Entscheidung unzufrieden, deswegen wurde dieser Weg als Kompromiss eingeschlagen.

Die Entscheidung sollte jedoch bald fallen, da die Dreharbeiten an der 250 Millionen Dollar Produktion, anscheinend doch schon Ende dieses Jahres beginnen sollen

Cinescape reports that veteran actor John Saxon (once known for trading barbs with Bruce Lee in "Enter the Dragon") has already auditioned for the role of Pa Kent in the Bryan Singer-helmed big screen adaptation.

Tolle News, aber ein Daddy zu finden, ist doch nicht das Problem, oder?
Ich würde den Supie (Welling) aus Smallville nehmen. Der sieht gut aus und kann den harmlosen Idioten sehr gut "spielen". :D

Wenn ich aber Publikum locken möchte, sollte ich einen relativ bekannten Schauspieler nehmen. Und was ist so schlimm daran, eine Char-kontinuität mit demselben Gesicht im Fernsehen und im Kino aufzubauen? Schließlich ist Smallville ja nicht nur ein Erfolg bei den Comic-Fans, sondern es gibt den ein oder anderen normalen Menschen, der sich Smallville ansieht und die hätten dann etwas mit einem Wiedererkennungswert. :)

Patrick Stewart in "Superman"?
IESb hat Informationen zugespielt bekommen, nach denen Patrick Stewart "Superman"´s leiblichen Vater, Jor'El,in dem neuen "Superman"-Film spielen soll.

Des Weiteren gibt der Informant bekannt, das Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor in "Smallville")nicht die Rolle von Superman´s Erzfeind bekommen wird.

John Saxon(Enter the Dragon, Nightmare on Elm Street) soll die Rolle von Jonathan Kent übernehmen.

Dabei sollte man bedenken das es sich nur um Gerüchte handelt, besonders, da der Regisseur Bryan Singer sagte, er wolle bei "Superman" nicht von vorne anfangen , sondern die Geschichte der Kinofilme weiterführen. da aber Jonathan Kent im ersten Superman Film starb....
