das gute an tpb man kann die komplette geschichte lesen , bis man bei den heften das ende einer geschichte erreicht
(ca.4-6hefte, also etwa halbes jahr) hat man schon den anfang vergessen.

in deutschland muss man ja auch kein produktionsteam für den comic bezahlen.

man kann sich ja ausrechnen, wie viel geld über den direct market geflossen ist:

für die hefte 5 x ~7.000 x ~2,50$ (endkundenrabatte etc.) = $ 87.500
für die trades 3.940 x $12,00 (endkundenrabatte etc.) = $47.280

wir sehen, selbst wenn die realen preise nicht stimmen sollten, macht DC mit dem trade auf der kurzen strecke weniger umsatz als mit den heften. selbst bei einem monatlichen zuwachs von 600 trades pro monat und einem start von 3.400 exemplaren im ersten monat braucht es ein halbes jahr, ehe das trade mit den heften gleich auf liegt. das trade überholt die hefte nur auf der langen strecke. und das ist das problem der trade-kalkulation im gegensatz zur heftkalkulation.

wie gesagt, DAS SIND NUR DIE DM-ZAHLEN! beachten! das sind nicht alle verkaufszahlen! (ich weiss, ich red da gegen wände.) und es sind auch nur die geschätzten DM-UMSATZZAHLEN, nicht die einnahmen des verlages!

Diese Woche gelesen:

HELLBLAZER #256

SPOILER!

John beweist einmal mehr das er ein Arschloch ist. Er meint verliebt zu sein und versucht nun Dinge zu erzwingen und ich bin mir sicher das es nach hinten los geht (er scheinbar auch). Das er den Liebestrank dann gleichzeitig noch missbraucht um sich einen Erpresser vom Hals zu schaffen macht die Sache sicher nicht besser. Hellblazer ist halt kein nettes Comic aber interessant zu lesen und wie immer ein Blick in die Abgründe menschlicher Verderbtheit.
