Ich denke mal er wollte auf diese ganze Crossroads-Geschichte hinaus, die Mitte der Achtziger in Hulk ablief. (Die Verbannung beginnt auf dt. AFAIR in Marvel Comic Sonderheft # 21 und das Ganze zieht sich dann durch Hulk-Taschenbuch # 17 - 19. Alles bei Condor.) Mich erinnert Planet Hulk von der Grundidee auch daran.

Das fing schon mit der US #300 an. Habe die Taschenbücher unzähige Male gelesen. Immer wieder gut.

Das ist wirklich gut an Planet Hulk, dass es eine eigene Geschichte ist, ohne dass man noch hier und dort zusätzlich zugreifen kann. Ansonsten aber finde ich die Geschichte äußerst fad. Der Grundverlauf der Story ist so alt wie ein altes Brötchen und man kann nach 2 Heften geradezu riechen, wie es weitergeht. Und so hat es hier auch bislang keine Überraschungen mehr gegeben. Mir gefiel es von Beginn an nicht und jedes Heft langweilt mich aufs Neue. Definitiv nur für Leute, die aus den 70ern und 80ern überhaupt gar keine Fantasy-Literatur gelesen haben. Denn Planet Hulk ist nichts anderes, als die Wiederbelebung dieser einen Story, die man damals in unglaublich vielen TB-Zyklen bis zum Gottserbarm um die Augen geschleudert bekam.

Das mag zwar teilweise stimmen, doch Planet Hulk macht irre Spaß! Endlich wieder top Hulkstories, so wie sie sein sollten. Eine richtige Wohltat nach dem unsäglichen Bruce Johns Run. Ja, ha - die Kritiker haben ihn unendlich hochgelobt, am Anfang waren die Hefte auch gut und innovativ, aber nach nur einem kurzen Hulkauftritt alle drei Hefte hatte ich langsam aber sicher den Spaß dran verloren.
Der Hulk scheint jetzt stärker zu sein, wie jemals zuvor - was er in der letzten US Ausgabe gemacht hat, war unglaublich.
Planet Hulk rules!

Das dürfte rainer freuen.
Ich hatte wirklich nicht gedacht, dass Blade es lange genug machen würde, um noch dazu zu kommen. Jetzt wäre natürlich auch ein Auftritt von Frank Drake cool, aber bitte ohne die dämliche "Okkult-Prämisse" aus der Nightstalkers-Serie. Ich mochte die Geschichten ja eigentlich, aber die Reduzierung auf etwas unterbelichtete Fanatiker wurde den Charakteren wirklich nicht gerecht. Aber dazu an anderer Stelle demnächst mehr.

Toll, Omega Flight wird auf eine 4teilige Mini gekürzt und Nova kriegt eine fortlaufende Serie. Sehr logisch.
